The regular meeting of the Mazeppa City Council was reconvened at 6:30 PM, November 30, 2021.

Present:      Mayor Chris Hagfors. Councilpersons: Erica Young, and Mike Hammes.

Others Present:  City Administrator Clerk Karl Nahrgang, Dan Nelson, Andrew Piva, Beth Hoefs, Joe Sand. Parks and Recreation Committee Members: Stephaney Klein, Shannon Fitzgibbons, Lindsay Wiebusch, and Crystal Hughley.

Motion by Hammes, second by Young to reconvene the regular City Council meeting that recessed on November 10, 2021. All in favor, none opposed. Carried.

Regular City Council meeting was reconvened at 6:30 PM.

A quorum of Council was present at a Parks and Recreation meeting.

The Parks and Recreation committee discussed the following:

Ice rink at Herb Vik Park. Progress of set up, items yet needed to equip dugout at warming house, necessary facility signage, and addition of a secure donation box.

Contacting Lion’s Club about upgrading sign at Lion’s Park.

Update getting access to website calendar of events to a member of Parks and Recreation.

Update on creation of Facebook page. City will get policy and documents to content creator.

Schedule skating party at rink.

Joe Sand gave trail grant information to Park and Recreation group.

Motion by Hammes, second by Young to adjourn the meeting. All in favor, none opposed. Carried.
