Wabasha County Highway Construction/Resurfacing~Starting May 9th

Asphalt milling/grinding of surface will be occurring at various locations on Wabasha County Highways 16, 33, 9, 4, 10, and 24 beginning Monday May 9th.  Work is expected to be completed within 2 days.  Roads will remain open to traffic, but traffic restrictions in the area of work should be expected.  A grooved pavement surface should be expected after completion of milling.

Sealcoat work is planned to begin Monday May 23rd on the following Wabasha County Highways locations.  All work is expected to be completed within 2 weeks. Roads will remain open to traffic, but traffic restrictions and flag persons when work is on-going, and loose gravel should be expected.  Road users are advised to use alternate routes.

  • County Hwy 1 – 240th Ave Way (2.7miles south of Mazeppa) to County Hwy 16 near Bellechester excluding Hwy 60 to Elm St in Mazeppa
  • County Hwy 12 – Goodhue County to County Hwy 1
  • County Hwy 16 – 1 mile east of Bellechester to Hwy 63
  • County Hwys 31, 75, 82 in Oak Center
  • County Hwy 33 – Hwy 63 to County Hwy 4
  • County Hwy 4 – Hwy 60 to Hwy 61
  • County Hwy 10 – County Hwy 4 to Hwy 61
  • County Hwy 59 (Grant Blvd in Wabasha) – railroad crossing to Hwy 60
  • County Hwy 64 (Gambia Ave in Wabasha) – Hiawatha Dr to Grant Blvd
  • County Hwy 30 (Bruegger Valley Road) – end of asphalt to Hwy 61
  • County Hwy 77 – Reads Landing
  • County Hwy 24 – County Hwy 30 to County Hwy 30
  • County Hwy 76 – County Hwy 24 to end
