"We shall go no further!”
A local legend that says that Mazeppa’s founder Joseph Ford, with wife and children in tow, crested the edge of the valley, took in its beauty and said, “We shall go no further!”
We cannot know how true this tale is, but this is a place of natural beauty. A river highlighted by parks. A quiet community surrounded by tree covered hills with easy access to the growing Rochester area and even a reasonable commute to the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area.
Take in the beauty of the ‘Village in the Valley’ and perhaps you will have a Joseph Ford moment and call Mazeppa home.
